CIMO Master Scholarships for International Students in Finland, 2017

Finnish National Board of Education and Centre for International Mobility CIMO merged at the beginning of 2017. Together, they now are Finnish National Agency for Education. The Finnish National Agency for Education awards and administers scholarships for students, researchers, and teachers.Scholarships are available to pursue a master degree in the field of Finnish language and culture.
Worth of Award
  • The scholarship is intended for a maximum of one term and the amount is 800 €/month. CIMO does not award a separate travel grant.
  • Scholarship can be taken in Finland

Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following area for the scholarship:
  • Applicants must be international students.
  • International applicants can apply for these scholarships.

  • CV
  • A summary of studies completed
  • Study/research plan (the most important annex)
  • Reference from your Finnish teacher in your university, with assessment on your Finnish language skills
  • An acceptance letter from the host university
Deadline: The application deadline is October 31 for the spring term.

Deadline: June 27, 2017 Applications are invited for the GoUNESCO Content Program Internship 2017. As part of this internship, your first immediate responsibility will be to become a heritage explorer. You will also write stories based on a theme. These themes will be communicated by GoUNESCO’s in-house editor. MIT/Harvard ImpactLabs Summer Workshop Nigeria 2017

Deadline: July 7, 2017 Applications are invited for the third edition of the ImpactLabs Summer Workshop! ImpactLabs is an initiative launched by students and graduates of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University in 2014 when they launched the first summer camp at the University of Lagos. In 2015, they were joined by the Technology Innovation Labs (TIL) of Bells University of Technology, Ota, Nigeria. Their instructors bring varied expertise in engineering design and software. During the camps, the participants gain hands-on experience combining techniques in software and engineering design into real-life technology.
